Where to look
Start with the place or the line. The status on the page tells you whether you are reading about something that runs, something proposed, or something that stopped.
Suburbs
Werribee, Clyde, Doreen, Footscray, Kew, and the rest. Each page names the council, the line, and the projects. The photograph is Kew East, with the Eastern Freeway and the skyline.
Lines
Werribee, Pakenham, Cranbourne, Craigieburn, Mernda, Lilydale, and Sunbury are running. Berwick and Pakenham share the Pakenham line. The Doncaster line was never built. The photograph is a Metro train at Werribee station.
Graveyard
Cancelled, never built, dismantled, or superseded. The freeway in this photograph runs through Bulleen, on the corridor of the Doncaster line. East West Link was cancelled. The Chandler Highway stub in Kew was never finished.
Stations
