Kew
Kew is a suburb in Melbourne’s inner east, in the City of Boroondara. It is not on a railway line in this directory. The Chandler Highway stub is the unfinished connection recorded here. The photograph, taken on 3 December 2024, shows the supports under the Chandler Highway bridge, not that unfinished stub.
At the 2021 Census the Australian Bureau of Statistics counted 24,499 people usually living in Kew. The median age was 41. The Victorian median on the same release was 38.
