Tottenham

Tottenham is a small suburb in Melbourne’s inner west, in Maribyrnong City Council, between West Footscray and Sunshine. Most of it is rail yards and industry. Tottenham station is on the Sunbury line. Melbourne Airport Rail stage 1 includes a new station here, on a realigned Sunbury line. Big Build says construction of that station is set to start in 2027. The photograph is the existing platform 2 on 21 January 2026, with the freight yard alongside.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics does not publish a 2021 Census profile for the Tottenham suburb. The QuickStats page says the count was too small. The neighbouring suburb with a published count is West Footscray.
