Werribee
Werribee is a suburb in Melbourne’s south-west, in the City of Wyndham. Werribee station is the end of the Werribee line. A further extension toward Geelong was not built. The suburb is the old centre of the municipality. Most of the people counted in Wyndham live in other suburbs, including Hoppers Crossing, Tarneit, and Point Cook.
At the 2021 Census the Australian Bureau of Statistics counted 50,027 people usually living in the suburb of Werribee. The median age was 35. The Victorian median on the same release was 38. There were 19,890 private dwellings, with 2.7 people per household on average. The median weekly household income was $1,645.
